Black Knight Historical is run by Ian Pycroft, a lifelong medieval enthusiast, specialising in bringing the past to life for a number of client groups, including the Heritage Industry, Film & TV, Schools, Hotels and Hospitality Venues, Local & Civic Authorities and Personal Clients. With over 20 years experience in costumed roles, the service provided is top class, professional and versatile.

MISSION

1. To provide specialist professional services to clients from different sectors according to their requirements.

2. To offer a wide portfolio of dedicated historical events and interpretation.

3. To assist all clients with planning, managing, and staging events on any scale.

4. To be courteous, professional and go ‘above and beyond the call of duty’.

5. To call upon other professionals in the same field to enable completion of larger projects.

7. To keep up to date with current legislation, especially Child Protection Issues and full cover Insurance.

8. To encourage all participants in Living History to a higher standard, both in appearance, delivery and knowledge.
