Our Living History displays are available for events and festivals lasting up to 9 days, depending on scenario and location.
These events are usually performed in the '3rd person', whereby an individual will explain and demonstrate how that person lived in the past.
Full commentary and PA provided for activities such as combat demonstrations, archery, fashion, housebuilding when appropriate.
All event performers present a fabulous collection of replica artefacts for
'show and tell' which may include handling by visitors.
All our teams of Living History performers excel in knowledge, attitude, safety issues and performance skills. The number of performers may be up to one hundred, dependant on contract.
Black Knight are proud to be able to offer 2000 years of British History brought to life in such a way.
For our professional Living History displays, we can also offer events focussing
on particular themes, such as 15th century merchants, archers en-route to the Hundred Years War, Pilgrims and Crusaders on their way to the Holy Land, Monks, Nuns and Friars showing medieval religion, a
soldiers life in 1471, and many more. Or the
event can bring many different performers together to give a real flavour of a specific time in history.
